Agent setup

Connect your agent in three steps.

Give Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or another MCP-compatible agent read and write access to your Veas workspace. You stay in control through the Veas OAuth screen.

Setup guide

Sign in to Veas.

Create an account or sign in first. Choose the workspace your agent should use: personal career work in For You, or hiring records in For Hiring Teams.

Add the connection URL to your agent.

In your agent settings, add a custom connector or remote MCP server and paste the Veas connection URL. If the agent asks for an authentication type, choose OAuth.

Authorize and test it.

Your agent will open Veas to ask for permission. Approve the connection, then run a small request to confirm it can read your workspace.

Where this is in common agents

Claude

Open connector settings, add a custom connector or remote MCP server, then paste the URL.

ChatGPT / Codex

Create a new connector in the agent workspace and use the same MCP URL.

OpenAI API apps

Use the remote MCP endpoint with a user-authorized OAuth token.

REST clients

Use API keys only for REST. The agent connector uses OAuth.
